By default, all new Users are created in Lucro as Free and they remain free forever without the need to enter any card payment details, so long as you remain within the free Plan and do not wish to access any of Lucro's Premium features.
Therefore, by default the "Free User" field is toggled to Yes for ALL Users and the License Type below will display "Free".
In order to upgrade a User to a Paid Plan, you must first purchase some Paid User Licenses - this is done by clicking on the badge from any of the locations as detailed above. Upon clicking the Upgrade Badge you are taken to the Billing Page - see below for details of how to upgrade from this page.

However, if you already had 1 Paid User and were adding a 2nd Paid User part-way through your monthly billing cycle, then Lucro automatically calculates the pro-rata cost to add the 2nd Paid User to your Plan and will reduce the cost to be charged in this transaction accordingly. Additionally, your monthly Subscription amount moving forward is amended to include the cost of the additional user for future renewals.
In this example, as you can see in the image above, the amount to be charged in this Transaction is £4.93 as the account is part-way through their monthly billing / subscription cycle and when the next billing period is reached, their account will then be charged the full monthly charge of £14 for 2 x Paid Users on the Essential Plan.
Step 5 - Enter Card Details
The final step in the Upgrade process is to enter your card payment details for payment to be taken - this is only required to be once when first upgrading as all recurring payments will automatically use the same card unless you amend otherwise.
