What is an API?

An API (Application Programming Interface) is a set of rules and tools that allows different software applications to communicate with each other. It acts like a bridge between systems / applications, letting them share data and functions securely and efficiently.

How does Lucro use APIs?

Using APIs, makes Lucro more powerful, flexible, and connected β€” crucial for businesses that want to streamline operations and improve customer engagement.

Lucro uses APIs to enable:

  • Integration with 3rd party applications / tools (e.g. email platforms, accounting software, marketing apps, etc)

  • Automation of tasks, like syncing leads, updating customer records, or triggering workflows

  • Access to CRM data from other systems (e.g. websites and portals etc)

How are Lucro's APIs different to other CRM providers?

Lucro likes to be different to all the rest - that's why we've built the ONLY dedicated CRM for Micro and Small Businesses - not a "one-size-fits-all" like our rivals!

In the same manner, we've implemented APIs in a different way to all the other solutions. With Lucro, there is no need to install, configure and pay monthly for 3rd party integration Apps, as Lucro does the API connections directly for you.

This gives you the following benefits using APIs with Lucro over any other solution:

  • No technical skills needed - simply activate the relevant API on our API Settings page and enter your account criteria and that's it - you're live!

  • No Integration Apps needed - as we've connected the App directly for you, there is no need for any 3rd party integration apps. This saves you time in sourcing and configuring the connection.

  • Deeper Integration – Lucro connects directly to all our APIs, enabling a more seamless experience and unlocking significantly more functionality than rival systems. Each integration is tailored to the specific API, not limited by generic approaches.

  • Ongoing Cost - the vast majority of 3rd party integration apps charge an ongoing monthly fee, as this it the only way they make money. This cost can be considerable - in most instances it is more than the cost of our Advanced License each month per API being connected! Lucro saves you 100% of this cost, since no integration apps are needed unlike rival systems.

To activate the APIs listed on this page, you must visit the the API Settings page to toggle on the relevant API and then enter your relevant account details to connect your account to Lucro.

Once your account is connected via the API, the new functionality will instantly appear in the relevant locations inside your Lucro portal.

Paid Plans

Note - All users must have the correct License Type / Paid Plan active on your account in order for the premium APIs to work.
