How can I add additional Users to my company’s Lucro account?

In order to add additional Users to your Lucro account so that all your Customer data is under one account, a Super Admin (SA) must add the additional users via their account. To add the additional Users, the SA User must be logged in to Lucro, then go to the “Users” menu and then click the “Add Users” button, top right.

Simply then fill in the contact details for the new User to be added and also assign them a “User Type” which is their level of system permissions. Once this has been done and “Submit” been clicked, the new User will automatically be sent an email with a link and their login details.

Can I reset my Users’ passwords?

Yes absolutely. Super Admin Users only are able to fully control and edit all Users of the system easily. To reset a User’s password go to the “Users” menu, then from the “Actions” menu select “Edit” then click on the pen icon to the right of the “Password” field and enter and confirm the new User password to be applied and click “Submit” to action.

How can I block a User from Logging in to Lucro?

All Users are controlled by Super Admin (SA) Users in Lucro. To block any User from Logging in, go to the “Users” menu, then from the “Actions” menu select “InActive” to make the User inactive and unable to login again.

The User will then display in the User list with “InActive” in red below their name. All Active Users do not have anything below their name as they are “Active” by default.

If you wish to permanently remove a User from your Lucro account, you must Delete the User.

How can I restore access for a User so they can login again?

If you wish to restore access for a User, simply go to the “Users” menu, then from the “Actions” menu select “Active” to make the User Active and able to login again.

How can I remove / delete a User?

To remove a User permanently from your Lucro account, go to the “Users” menu, then from the “Actions” menu select “Delete” and follow the on-screen prompts.

Note, since deleting a User removes all of their history and activities etc associated with Customers, this history will need to be assigned to another Lucro User on your account in order for it remain in the system. A User with any Customer history, can not be deleted without their historical data being re-assigned to another User.

If you do not wish to re-assign a User’s data to another User, then you can simply keep the User you planned to delete as “InActive” so they can’t login and all of their data will remain under their own name, instead of being added to another User’s.

What are User Types?

A “User Type” is a set of permissions for a User of Lucro is assigned. Each User Type in Lucro has a pre-defined set of permissions which can only be changed by Users who have access to the System Settings Area – typically Super Admin Users and possibly Admin Users.

The different User Types have varying levels of permissions to access different things such as financial information, User controls and Customer data etc.

A User Type is applied to one or more Users in the system and all Users of a certain User Type share exactly the same level of permissions.

Lucro has 5 different User Types:

Core User Types:

  • Super Admin - for business owners and senior management for full system control.

  • Admin - for company administrators and management with reduced access and control.

  • General - for sales persons and general users with limited view of their own customers and data only.

Optional User Types:

  • Introducer – for external persons referring leads / enquiries to the business in return for commissions. Introducers are give their own unique login so can track in real-time the progress of their leads and contracts and what commission they will earning. Introducers can be applied varying levels of commission which are all defined in Lucro.

  • Customers – you can give your Customers limited access to your Lucro portal so they can track progress of their Contracts / Sales order history etc. You can give your Customers limited access to your Lucro portal so they can track progress of their Contracts / Sales order history etc via their own unique login.

Can I edit / adjust User Type permissions?

Yes absolutely! Full flexibility exists within Lucro to enable you to adjust the default User Type permissions at anytime to make them bespoke to your exact business needs. The flexibility enables for example you to change things such as the graphs accessible to User Types, which features they can see and equally the permission levels.

There are 4 different permission levels for each feature as list in the User Types section, which are listed below in order of increasing permissions:

  • Blank - no boxes ticked - the item is not visible at all to the User Type.

  • View only - can see the item, but can't make any changes or additions.

  • Edit - can view and also edit the existing items which exit, but can not add new items.

  • Add - can view the existing items and also add new items.

The list of items which can changed are visible via the System Settings / View User Type / Edit menu.

Please note it is not possible to change certain permissions which are fixed for a User Type – for example, a General User can only ever see their own Customer data, whereas Admin and Super Users can see data on all Customers.

In instances such as this, you would need to change the User's User Type from say General to Admin in order to give them access to the wider Customer data view.

How can I edit / adjust User Type permissions?

User Types can only be changed by Super Admin Users and are edited via the System Settings menu.

To change permissions for a User Type go to System Settings / View User Type and then select the User Type you wish to change by clicking “Edit” and then once you’ve adjusted the relevant permissions from the list of options, click “Submit” to save your changes.

Please see the image below which gives you an example of the form where you can edit User Type permissions:
