What are Tags?
Tags are a very useful feature and should be used in the same way as you use Hashtags / # on your social media etc. You can enter as many tags as you wish at any point in Lucro and a Customer can have multiple tags added to them.
Tags are a Premium feature and therefore only accessible via one of our Paid Plans - see our Pricing Page for an itemised breakdown of our Plans.
Why should I use Tags?
Tags can be used to help organise your customers into groups associated with the Tag – for example if you did a mailshot to a group of companies across multiple business categories, the “Source” value could be the name of the mailing campaign and the Tag value could be the name of the business category.
For example, you could use Tags such as “Plumbers” and “Electricians” to group together all customers quickly and easily under a Tag so you can therefore find all customers of a certain type for marketing purposes etc.
Using a combination of Source and Tags you can very accurately identify which marketing activities are working best and the type of customers you are acquiring which is very powerful to ensure you focus your marketing budget and resources in the right places.
How / where do I add a Tag to a Customer record?
To add a Tag to a Customer, from the “View Customers” menu item, find the Customer you wish to Tag and then click on either their Customer ID or Customer Name to go to their full record.
From there, click on the Edit button on the top left panel to Edit the Customer Details, scroll down the popup and you will see the Tags field – in there enter any tag you wish to add for the Customer, hitting Enter after each Tag – you can enter as many as you wish.
Once you’ve finished adding your Tags, simply click the “Submit” button to save your changes.
How / where do I add a Tag to a Customer record?
To remove a Tag for a Customer, from the “View Customers” menu item, find the Customer you wish to Tag and then click on either their Customer ID or Customer Name to go to their full record.
From there, click on the Edit button on the top left panel to Edit the Customer Details, scroll down the popup and you will see the Tags field – in there simply click on the “X” to the right of any Tags you wish to remove.
Once you’ve finished removing your Tags, simply click the “Submit” button to save your changes.
How / where do I manage all my Tags?
The Super Admin (SA) User is the only User Type who can centrally add / edit / delete Tags system wide.
To manage all your Tags being used in your Lucro system, simply go to the “System Settings” menu and then click “Tags”. From there you will a list of existing Tags which you can delete any you don’t want, or just leave them, it doesn’t matter.
To add your own Tags click the “Add Tags” button (top right) and enter your new Tags. You can add additional Tags at any time and there is no limit, so add as many as you need!
How do I filter my Customers by Tags?
In order to search and filter Customers by a certain Tag, simply go to Customers / View Customers and from here there are 2 ways to filter by Tags:
Click the “Tags” column heading which will then sort by the Tags in either Ascending or Descending alphabetical order. This will group all Customers together using the same Tags.
In the “Search Customers” box (top left) enter a Tag name which will then dynamically search and display all Customers using that Tag. Note, only one Tag can be searched at a time using this method.
